Assassin's Creed Unveils Surprising Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected crossover event that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Revealed
According to the authorized release, "A mysterious meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of prohibited practices and terrifying changes echo through the shadows." The plot introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine cult.
The mission centers on "peculiar trials and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Extra Features
Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an unique katana alongside several artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
- Titan-based outfit for Yasuke
- Mikasa costume for Naoe

Newest Free Story Update
This update also brings the game's newest no-cost story addition, titled "The Enigma."
